SIX MOON DESIGNS Wild Oasis - is ultralight shelter made of 100% waterproof Dyneema® Fabric, which is 40% lighter than the standard Deschutes Plus, the Wild Oasis still provides full weather coverage at an incredible 342g (12.1 oz ).

The Wild Oasis is an ultralight shelter designed to give you the most interior space while maximizing protection from the elements and minimizing weight. The simple pyramid structure is easy to set up and sheds wind with ease. It can be pitched with adjustable trekking poles or with our fixed length aluminum or carbon fiber poles (sold separately). The Wild Oasis has 3.6 m² (39 ft²) of coverage and a setup height of 125 cm (49”),  providing plenty of room to sit up and spread out gear. A full-length vestibule zipper makes for easy entry. 

The Wild Oasis has the benefit of an added No-See-Um skirt perimeter, that eliminates the need to carry a bug net to keep away those pesky mosquitoes. The skirt’s generous 46 cm (18”) width allows you flexibility in setting up the shelter at different heights.

Six Moon Designs has spent over a decade working with Dyneema®. Through the process, we have developed our own proprietary tape which creates a stronger bond than conventional methods.
