New for 2019 with better flow, lower size, higher variability of use, easy cleaning and included half the weight of the standard 1-liter (32-ounce) Sawyer Squeeze Pouch. Sawyer SP2129 Micro Squeeze Filter is technologically based on the world's most popular water filters Sawyer MINI and SQUEEZE and takes the best of both types of filters. The filter uses Hollow Fiber Membran with a pore size of max. 0,1micron.
With a total weight of 45g and the possibility of rolling into a small package, it takes up almost no space in your backpack. This tiny filter perfectly fits in the palm of your hand and is always ready to use.
While small in size, the powerful Micro Squeeze removes 99.99999% of bacteria (salmonella, cholera and E. coli), 99.9999% of protozoa (cryptosporidium and giardia), and 100% of microplastics — exceeding EPA recommendations for removal rates. Attach the Micro Squeeze to the included drinking pouch, use the included straw to drink directly from your water source, connect it to your hydration pack tubing, or screw it onto standard disposable bottles (28mm thread).

What we love about all Sawyer filters is that they're adaptable to plastic water bottles and a lot of hikers on trails like to use plastic water bottles to collect and carry their water, because they're lightweight, they're affordable and you can recycle them and one get dirty switch them out to another one. You just screw bottle on the filter and all you need to do is drinking clear water.
