OUTDOORLINE Underquilt protector for bridge hammocks will help you in those windy or wet conditions. Splashing mud, windy rain, or frozen cloud that flows through your nest. It all takes what costs you a lot – your warmth. The underquilt protector will also help to keep your underquilt dry, clean, and ready to be packed the next morning to continue your trip.
It is basically a second layer of breathable fabric that hangs below your underquilt. The choice of breathable fabric is the key to keep you dry, with any condensation going on within your hammock system. At the same time, we chose an ultralight version of the fabric at its best marked as 10D nylon, used for sleeping bag shells, quilts, or underquilts by the most famous cottage vendors in the USA.
This one is designed to fit the Warbonnet Ridgerunner hammock perfectly. However it may fit any other bridge hammocks. It comes with drawstring adjusters on both sides for tighter or looser fit for your underquilt. Equipped with shock cord loops on the corners, that you just hang on your spreading bar poles. The foot end comes with a red shock cord, and head end with black shock cord. And that is for your ease of use, as the protector is designed as tapered, which means it is wider at head end.
Underquilt protector is not intended to use as an underquilt alternative. It is your additional item, that will help you keep your warmth in nasty weather conditions, that will come sooner or later. We made our best to deliver an ultralight solution that will not allow you to keep this one at home. We did not save any cent here, every component is top quality product. The best you can have.
Designed by Infrastellar and his long term experiences while hunting sunrises. Tested on various Warbonnet lynx underquilts, to find out the best fit. It is not loose. And it is not tight. It is perfect.
