GEAR AID Seam Grip SIL - Silicone Tent Sealant

Is a silicone seam sealer previously known as Sil Net. Is specially formulated for sealing seams on tents and other outdoor products constructed or coated with silicone, such as silicone treated nylon. It’s fast and easy to use. The silicone adhesive in Seam Grip SIL waterproofs silicone tent seams with just one application. The exclusive formula is not affected by extreme heat or cold. Plus, it comes in handy for repairs on moderate rips and tears.

When you need to waterproof silnylon or silicone-treated fabrics, only a silicone sealant will work. Seam sealing with Seam Grip is the best way to keep the elements outside, where they belong.

Note:  Seam Grip SIL will not bond properly to non-silicone-treated fabrics

CHARACTERISTIC

• 1 tube seals critical seams on most ultralight two person tents (approx. 24 feet.)
• 3-6 hour cure time

USAGE

To use it, lay your tarp flat, or set up your tent and seal the inside seams. Slowly coat the seams, using the brush to ensure the seams are fully covered. One tube will cover 24 feet. You can also repair small holes and pinhole leaks. Overnight it will cure to a clear, glossy seal that flexes with fabric, and stands up to extreme temperatures so you can go anywhere.
