Katabatic Gear Knik V40 – 40L - is frameless ultralight backpack. Body material is very strong made with extremely durable V40 fabric. If you are hard on your gear this is the option for you. This pack will have you floating down the trail like the Alaskan breeze it is named after.

V40 – 420D Nylon with laminated 0.5 mil PET film.
PET film is more waterproof and durable than PU coatings.

Torso Size
To find the correct torso size, it is best to measure your torso length. The measurement will be most accurate using a flexible measuring tape and a friend to help. Measure torso length vertically from C7 vertebrae (the bump at the base of your neck) to the spot on your spine that is level with the iliac crest (top of hipbone). Try to keep your back comfortably straight while the measurement is taken.
