More info
HMG 2400 Junction - is built upon the time-tested, ultralight Windrider and Southwest, with a best of both worlds to give you ultimate versatility. It's a roll-top ultralight backpack built with 100% waterproof Dyneema® Composite Fabrics with different kind of external pockets.

The 2400 Junction is identical to Hyperlite’s 2400 Southwest and 2400 Windrider backpacks with the exception of its external pockets. It features two solid side pockets constructed of Dyneema® Hardline to provide an extra durability when hiking off-trail, and an external center mesh pocket to give visibility to the contents and to dry out damp gear.

The 2400 Junction has a large main compartment with an internal hydration system sleeve, side water bottle pockets, a mesh front pocket, and large hip belt pockets. The advantage of a roll-top pack is that you can roll down the extension collar to reduce its volume when it’s not needed.

The 2400 (40L) volume size is ideal for weekend or section hikes where frequent resupply points are available.

SIZE CHART
  • Tilt your head slightly forward to locate the bony bump at the base of your neck. (This is your 7th cervical (or C7) vertebra).

  • Using a flexible tape measure, have someone measure starting at that spot and running down along the curve of your spine.

  • Place your hands on your hips so you can feel your iliac crest, which serves as the “shelf” of your pelvic girdle. (It’s the first hard thing you feel when you run your fingers down from the sides of your ribcage.) Position your hands so your thumbs are reaching behind you.

  • Have your friend finish measuring at the point where the tape crosses an imaginary line drawn between your thumbs. This distance is your torso length.

SIZETORSO LENGTH / cmTORSO LENGTH / inch
Small38cm - 43cm15.0” - 17.0”
Medium43cm - 48cm17.0” - 19.0”
Large48cm - 53cm19.0” - 21.0”
Tall> 53cm> 21.0”

If your measurement falls right in between sizes (for example, if you have a 17.0” torso, so you are right on the line between a Small and a Medium), we suggest you choose the larger torso size.
